When did you start working here?
October 2016

Where else have you worked?
I was a morning weekend anchor for KFVS in Cape Girardeau,MO and also a multimedia journalist for the station’s southern Illinois bureau.

Where did you go to college?
I received my undergraduate degree in broadcast news and Spanish at Western Kentucky University. I also have master’s degrees from Louisiana State University and American University.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
It’s hard to say what I’m most proud of, but when it comes to this career, I love being able to meet people from all walks of life. It’s amazing the stories people allow me to share with others. It’s such a great feeling seeing a positive change made or difference happening because of a story someone allowed me to share.

What are you most proud of in your own life?
Being able to travel and experience different cultures and traditions is something that I’m pretty proud of when it comes to my life. Traveling is such an awesome excuse to meet new people, try new things and explore what the world has to offer.  I’ve also been blessed to have such amazing family and friends. My support system really helps make this life worthwhile!

What do you love about living in the KC area?
The people and the food! My goodness! So many options to choose from when it comes to food. There seems to be quite a bit of sightseeing in the area as well!

What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?
I’m still learning my way around the city! Please feel free to share suggestions on local hangouts/restaurants and places to see around the area! I would love to hear from you.
When it comes to sports, being a Cincinnati native, I must admit my heart is with the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals (Who Dey!)

All-time favorites...  (movies, shows, books, music)
Movies: Hitch, Love and Basketball, Remember the Titans, How To Be Single, Think Like a Man
TV Shows: New Girl, The Office, Being Mary Jane, House of Cards, and Criminal Minds
Music – All kinds! Honestly. Too many to name, but some bands/artists who are always on repeat: Earth, Wind & Fire, India Arie, The Script, Coldplay and Sade
