Okay, without Googling, how many of you know what it meant to be called a 'Hep Cat?'
Sure, for some folks 'Hep Cat' is an old Warner Brothers cartoon.
But, it is also what you call a cool, stylish or fashionable person. It grew out of the world of jazz.
Well, starting Saturday, February 25, it’s hip to be a hep cat at HopCat.
HopCat is the latest spot for good times, good food and good beer in Westport.
Forget about singing “99 bottles of beer on the wall.” This place has 100 kinds of beer on tap, which is where the hop in HopCat comes from.
That number includes more than 40 craft beers made in Missouri and Kansas.
So, the beer selection is amazing, but there are also these things called 'Crack Fries.'

GM Joe Prate says the secret recipe includes cracked pepper.
These delectables were selected as one of the Top-10 Best French Fries in the nation by Food Network Magazine.
The first 200 guests at Saturday's grand opening at 11 a.m. will get their hands on a card good for a free order of Crack Fries every week for a year.
The original Hep Cat cartoon feline used to say “Something new has been added.” He’d be right about Westport, this weekend, thanks to HopCat.
