A bull that got loose in Queens, New York on Tuesday has died.
The Queens Police Department got a call about a cow on the run around 10:45 a.m.
Police said the caller believed the animal escaped from one of the five slaughterhouses that are in the Queens area. Police aren’t sure if the bull escaped from one.
The bull was on the run for about 45 minutes before being cornered in a backyard.
The cow will not go back to the slaughterhouse, according to police.
A similar escape happened last year in the same area. Jon Stewart “adopted” that cow and sent it to a sanctuary.
