A Kansas City man was charged in a triple shooting that left two people dead in southeast Kansas City, Missouri.
Robert Townsend, 30, faces two counts of second-degree murder, first-degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action.

Authorities were called to a car accident near Blue Parkway and 55th Street just before 10:30 p.m. Monday, March 20.
When officers arrived, they found a man and woman shot to death inside a car lying in a ditch. Officials also found a third shooting victim a couple blocks away and they were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The victims were later identified as Marquis Clark, 33, and Shakeisha Urassa, 37.
