Police are investigating multiple thefts in south Leawood.
Police believe the suspects drive through neighborhoods after dark looking for open garage doors.
Ward Worley is one victim. He left his garage door open on the evening of August 19.
"I noticed I left the garage open, but I didn’t think anything about it," Worley said. "Then around 8 a.m. I got an alert from Chase.”
Surveillance video from the Walmart near 133rd and State Line Road shows one suspect walking out with a flat screen TV. He used Worley's credit card to spend $852.
Leawood police are looking for these two men in connection with multiple thefts.
Later, the suspect swiped Worley's card again at the QuikTrip on Southwest Boulevard.
"According to the Leawood police, there are people that drive through our neighborhoods late at night, looking for open garage doors," Worley explained.
Police confirmed to 41 Action News they are also investigating two vehicle thefts from a neighborhood near 143rd and Mission Road. One of the stolen vehicles was recovered in Missouri.
