ORIGINAL STORY, May 24 | One person is dead Sunday after a body was found in the Kansas River in Edwardsville, Kansas.
Edwardsville police said in a news release that officers responded around 2 p.m. to the Riverfront Park “to investigate a body that was recovered” from the river.
Emergency medical personnel declared the individual deceased.
