A suspicious package was found near City Hall at 12th and Oak Monday morning in Kansas City, Missouri.
Police were called to the scene around 4:30 a.m. after a suspicious box was located.

The bomb squad detonated the package around 6:20 a.m. No one was injured.
Police say the box was a hard case that contained a tripod and camera equipment.
Streets around City Hall have now been reopened to traffic.
