KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Most people have heard of the Neiman Marcus Fantasy book, a catalog of the most imaginative and extravagant gifts that a majority of people can’t even afford to look at let alone purchase.

For example, this year’s catalog includes a Rolls-Royce Limited Edition Dawns for $439,625 (if you get the Blue one).

So if you just can’t be home to greet the new Rolls-Royce that they won’t leave under the doormat (something about needing a signature upon delivery) here is a short list of extravagant gifts you can purchase and walk out with today, right here in Kansas City.

6) A limited edition cigar from Diebel’s Sportsmens Gallery

This year you can find the Davidoff, Year of the Rooster Limited Stock cigar ($42.10/each). Cigars that are not limited stock but are always winners include the Davidoff Aniversario Double “R” ($34.80/each) and the Padron 50th anniversary ($55.00/each).

If you want to give them a place to smoke those cigars you can add a membership to the Diebel’s Cigar Club, a sophisticated, thumb print scanner entry gentlemen-themed room. There they can enjoy a cigar, good conversation, and a nice glass of scotch all while lounging in an oversized leather chair. The $100/month or $1,000/year membership includes a locker with a built-in humidor and a bottle rack. There’s also a small kitchen there as well, just in case you bring some nice hors d’oeuvres.

5) Sweet confections

Want to give a little bit of Kansas City holiday tradition this year? Head over to Andre’s Confiserie Suisse in Kansas City, Missouri, or Andre’s Rivaz in Overland Park, Kansas.

Three generations of the Bollier family have lovingly made some of Kansas City’s best chocolate confections for more than 62 years. Some of their best holiday treats include a Gingerbread House covered in Swiss chocolate, complete with a removable roof that allows you to get to the chocolate covered almonds that hide inside ($115.00).

If the house isn’t of interest to you, how about a two-pound box of their assorted chocolates. A little bit of everything adorns this enormous box, and it's sure to put a smile on anyone’s face ($127.00).

And for those of you who are more traditional, grab the two-pound box of chocolate-covered almonds, available in milk and dark chocolate or a mix of the two ($92.00).

4) A stay at The Raphael Hotel

How about a jazz experience like no other? The Raphael Hotel, Kansas City’s boutique hotel, might have just what you're looking for.

Guest rooms and suites, many with Plaza views, are decorated in traditional European style with pillow top mattresses, luxury linens and carved granite vanities in the bathrooms.

You can also get their “Uniquely Kansas City Experience,” which includes a King Plaza Suite, dinner for two at Chaz, and an intimate jazz experience with reserved seating and admission to the American Jazz Museum and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, just to name a few things offered in the package (starting at $559.00).

3) Jewelry

If you’re looking for jewelry, you can head to Tivol on the Plaza or Town Center in Leawood, Kansas. They offer extravagant pieces such as a 7.02 carat Kwiat, square emerald cut diamond ring ($195,000), an 18 carat, white gold diamond necklace from the Roberto Coin Centro Collection ($72,160). They also have time pieces such as the 18 carat, rose gold perpetual calendar timepiece by Patek Philippe ($87,320).

2) A car

The 2017, S650A Mercedes Maybach Cabriolet is now available at Aristocrat Motors. Only 400 were made worldwide, and as of publication of this article Aristocrat had two of them. For the basement price of $337,625, it has daytime running lights inlaid with Swarovski Crystals, leather interior, state-of-the-art surround sound and cameras. This 6.0L direct injection Twin Turbo V12 has 621hp and a 7-speed shift-able automatic, and that'll get you to where you need to go in a hurry and in style.

And ... the #1 extravagant gift you can take home today, albeit if you have the “parking space” for it, is…

1) A plane

Yes, a plane.

KCAC Aviation located in Olathe, Kansas, has a plane you can purchase and fly off in today.

For $4,900,000, you can have a Pilatus PC-12 NG with beige leather interior and inlaid wood paneling (pilot, fuel, and insurance not included). It has enough room for you and five friends to travel in style wherever you’d like. With a max cruise speed of 285 KTAS, you can easily beat that I-35 traffic backup with quick trips in and out of the downtown airport.
