KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Workers were evacuated from a Holton, Kansas, sausage plant on Saturday just before 2 p.m. when a fire broke out.
The Banner Creek, LLC/Johnsonville Sausage Plant is located in Jackson County, Kansas.
The Holton Fire Department, Jackson County EMS, Holton Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff's Office all responded to the fire.
The fire was put out, but it's not clear yet how much damage the plant sustained.
No one was injured in the fire.
