Fire officials were called to Kyke's Auto Repair in the 600 block of N. Scott Ave. around 2:00 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof of the building.
The auto repair shop was filled with tires and the flames damaged five cars inside the building during the fire.
Crews went of the defensive attack against the flames and knocked the fire down, and then switched to offense and mopped the inside of the car repair shop.
