A burning house partially collapsed Saturday afternoon as firefighters with the Kansas City Fire Department were beginning to battle the blaze.
There were no reports of injuries from the collapse as fire crews battled the blaze in a one-story house at 3816 Fuller Ave.
Seven people were inside the house when the fire began and were able safely escape.
The American Red Cross came to the scene to help the family with temporary shelter and other immediate needs.
