KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A home and two vehicles outside were heavily damaged in an early Sunday morning fire in the 5400 block of N. Jackson Drive.
Fire crews were called to 5421 N. Jackson Drive Just after 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Heavy flames and smoke were reported from the front of the house upon arrival.
Crews quickly worked to extinguish the flames, but the home was so heavily involved on arrival that two vehicles in the driveway were also damaged.
The residents were able to escape unharmed.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and an investigation is underway.
