Hundreds of people took on the stairwell at One Kansas City Place and it was all for a good cause.
While the American Lung Association has put on the Fight for Air Climb for years in cities across the nation, this Sunday was the first time Kansas City ever hosted the event.

Participants raced up 42 flights, or 902 steps, and it was all for one cause: to raise awareness and money for the American Lung Association.
One Kansas City Place, one of the most recognizable buildings in KC's skyline, stretches an impressive 654 feet in the sky, making it the tallest building in Missouri.
