A 2-month-old boy was found safe on Saturday after he was taken from his mother during a domestic dispute, officials said.

Jordon Pierce Jr.  was located around 8 p.m. Kansas City police said they are still searching for the baby's father, Jordon Pierce, and a second suspect, Kenyon Robinson.

Police said the 2-month-old was taken from his mother Saturday afternoon at a home at 9347 Bales Drive.

Officials said the suspect was involved in a domestic dispute with the child's mother and threatened her with a gun. He then allegedly took the child and fled southbound into the woods.

Jordon Pierce is described as a 24-year-old man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 155 pounds. He has black hair, dreadlocks, brown eyes and was last seen in a white T-shirt.

Police say Kenyon Robinson, 20, was also involved in the assault.

If you have anyone information on the baby or the suspect's whereabouts, you're encouraged to call 911 or the Kansas City Police Department at 816-234-5150.
