Riverside police investigating after finding man dead at Homestead Park

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Riverside, Missouri, are investigating after a man was found dead at the Homestead Park on Monday evening.

According to the Riverside Police Department, the man was found by children in Line Creek at around 7 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the 41-year-old man lying face down in the creek.

Police said there wasn't any immediate signs of foul play.

No other information surrounding the incident was immediately available. An investigation into the man's death continues.
