KANSAS CITY, Mo. — No one was injured when a plane made an emergency landing in a field in Clay County on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The incident happened about 3 p.m. in a field near H Highway between Liberty and Missouri City.
A pilot and passenger were on a practice flight when the small plane began having mechanical problems, forcing the pair to make an emergency landing.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
