UPDATE: The lockdown at North Kansas City School District headquarters and the lock and teach at Northgate Middle School have been lifted. The school day will continue as normal.
The two locations were put on alert after shots were fired in the area.
Kansas City police said a dispute between neighbors led to the shots being fired in the 4400 block of NE Kelsey.
Police said no one was injured, and the people involved are in custody.
