3 charged in woman's death near Lone Jack

UPDATE 6/12/2017: Three people have been charged in the death of Reba Murphy, who was found dead in an abandoned barn in Jackson County.

Danielle L. Bell, 19, and Raphael Corrioso, 23, were both charged earlier on Tuesday. Each faces second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action. Kevin Fenwick, 28, was charged with the same counts later on Tuesday. 

Prosecutors have requested a $150,000 bond for each suspect.

The woman killed outside of Lone Jack Friday morning has been identified as Reba Murphy by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.

According to social media, Murphy was a mother originally from Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

Police are investigating her death as a homicide. Although they had two persons of interest in custody on Friday, those persons have since been released. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said they are still searching for a suspect or suspects.

Deputies were called to the 12800 block of Buckner Tarsney Road, about three miles west of Lone Jack, Mo. 6:30 a.m. Friday. When officers arrived they found Murphy dead inside an abandoned farm house on the property. Police said another man was shot, but as of Monday did not release any other information on his identity or health status.
