The Olathe Police Department has blocked off 119th Street between Ridgeview and Nelson Road following a deadly wreck.
The incident happened around 9:10 a.m. on Monday. Officials say the pickup truck was traveling west on 119th Street and left the roadway striking a pole.
A 44-year-old man and driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. He been identified as Terry L. Heathman Jr., of Gardner, Kansas.
