KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man died in a house fire Sunday morning in south Kansas City, Missouri.
Firefighters found the victim in a bedroom at the house near East 104th and Tullis streets.
His name has not been released.
Neighbors called to report the fire.
Smoke and fire were coming from the rear of the house when crews arrived just before 9 a.m.
It's unknown if the house had working smoke detectors.
The cause is under investigation.
