A man was hit and killed on the highway after being involved in a non-injury crash moments before.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says Taano Aisek, 26, of Kansas City, Kansas was struck and killed on I-29 just south of St. Joe about 10:40 p.m. Friday.
Aisek was reportedly involved in a non-injury crash and exited his vehicle.
He then ran out in front of a 2009 Ford pickup, driven by Kaitlin Ericson, Shawnee, who was northbound on I-29 about five miles south of St. Joe.
Aisek was Pronounced dead by the Buchanan County Medical Examiner.
