Rhythm 'N Balloons festival ends without notice, vendors upset

The Rhythm 'N Balloons festival was abruptly canceled Sunday leaving vendors and suppliers with a lot of unanswered questions.

The festival made the announcement via their website Sunday.

41 Action News talked with several vendors and suppliers of this festival who tell us they believe they were scammed.

"We were told 19,000 people were supposed to be there we were lucky outside of vendors for 300 people," said Michael Anderson, a vendor.

One supplier even told us the owners have been unreachable and that they owe him $13,000.

"We started setting up for this event Thursday and got it all set up and we were supposed to be paid today for this event and the owner didn't show up," said Max Parsons of D&M Plumbing.

We reached out to the owners of Rhythm 'N Balloons but our phone call was unsuccessful.
