Basketball fanatics will want to give themselves plenty of extra time to get to the Big 12 tournament.
The Now checked in with ride-share service Uber to see how they are preparing for the tournament. Uber tells us they are expected to see 100 percent to 115 percent increase in riders.
"I am ready to meet new faces and expect to be non-stop throughout the weekend," said Uber driver Nakisha Blankenship.
If you plan on taking Uber, here's a couple reminders:
- Log into the the app early.
- Make sure you are in a visible location for your driver to spot you.
- Be prepared for surge pricing.
