KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A tractor trailer caught fire Monday morning in western Wyandotte County, sending smoke billowing into the air and closing a stretch of roadway.
Fire crews were called out to the fire shortly before 10:30 a.m. near Kansas Highway 7 north of Interstate 70 in Bonner Springs.
Video from SKYTRACKER showed crews dousing the charred debris of the trailer.
It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was injured in the blaze or what the semi was hauling.
