Sleeping Kansas City man injured in trash truck

A man got trapped in a trash truck near Vivion Road and Antioch Road Thursday morning.

Police dispatchers say that the man was sleeping in the dumpster when a truck came to empty it, not knowing the man was inside.

Crews were able to remove him.

His injuries are not life-threatening.
