-------
The Kansas City Streetcar has temporarily suspended service following an issue on Monday afternoon.
According to the Streetcar Authority, service is stopped along the entire route due to a track switch issue at Union Station. They are not sure how long repairs will take, and the Streetcar Authority told 41 Action News crews have practiced for this situation.
Several workers in orange vests worked on the issue.
The Streetcar Authority said passengers were transported via bus.
By 8:35 p.m., crews were testing the streetcar on the track. Passenger service remains suspended.
