A home in the 9900 block of Hemlock Street suffered heavy damage in a two-alarm fire late Friday night.
Just after 10 p.m., crews arrived to a fully-involved garage fire, which had moved up into the attic of the two-story home.
Firefighters quickly moved into the attic and knocked the fire down within twenty minutes.
The fire completely consumed the garage and attic above.
One firefighter showed signs of heat exhaustion and was transported to a hospital for evaluation, but no other injuries were reported.
Officials believe a car fire started the blaze, but the exact cause is not known.
An investigation is underway.
