Firefighters responded to a house fire near 44th and Flora in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday morning.

Reports from the scene say that firefighters were put in defensive mode twice due to the structure being possibly unstable. They have brought the fire under control. The house was vacant and there were no injuries.

Earlier Friday morning, fire crews were called to another vacant home at 40th and Flora, which is just four blocks away.

We do not know if the two fires are connected.

This is a developing story, check back for updates
