KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A building at 6801 Truman Rd. in Kansas City, Missouri, was badly burned late Monday night.
The fire started around 11:30 p.m. Monday.
Crews were still on the scene Tuesday morning putting out hot spots.
The building has a sign that reads "Builders Surplus Cash Bargain Lumber Co." but appears to be vacant.
The fire essentially burned the building to the ground.
