KCK police are investigating a homicide after a double shooting left one person dead and another injured.

Authorities were called to Parallel Avenue and North 22nd Street around 7 p.m. Thursday following reports of shots being fired.
When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. One victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but later died of his injuries. He was identified as Adam Salazar, 24.
The other shooting victim walked into another area hospital with a non life-threatening injury.
