Deffenbaugh in Kansas City, Kansas is rolling out a new program designed to help law enforcement.
Under Waste Watch, waste management workers are encouraged to be an extra set of eyes and ears for police. They're encouraged to report any suspicious activity.

Because they know their routes so well, they already keep an eye out, but Waste Watch provides more of a structured way to cooperate with police or emergency personnel.
More than 200 workers trained on Tuesday morning, going through a set of practice questions that will later come up on the exam.
