One person was injured after being shot at a Walmart in Olathe early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the Walmart parking lot in the 13600 block of South Alden Street around 4:30 a.m. following reports of an armed disturbance.
According to police, a 21-year-old man was shot in the chest by a suspected 15-year-old male who fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
The victim has been transported to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
Officials said the shooter has been identified and the suspect and victim know one another. The suspect has not yet been taken into custody.
