Police are investigating after a report of a possible peeper after a woman caught a man recording video and pictures up her skirt at a grocery store in Overland Park, Kansas on Sunday.
Authorities responded to the Hen House in the 6900 block of W. 135th Street around 2:15 p.m.
41 Action News anchor Christa Dubill says she was the woman who fell victim to the breach of privacy.
"I was back by the milk aisle when I felt something odd behind me. I glanced back and there was a man bent over about three feet behind me turning his cell phone on to video and positioning it in his little shopping carry basket and looking down," Dubill said in a Facebook post.
Dubill says she was wearing a skirt during the incident at the grocery store.
"I couldn't believe what what I just seen," she said in the post. "He didn't know I had seen him."
She took a moment to collect herself, before pulling out her camera and snapping his picture.
Dubill then went to the front of the store to confirm the incident on surveillance before confronting the man.
When the man came to the front of the store, Dubill walked up to the individual and asked to see his phone.
"The man didn't seem shocked. He didn't even ask why I wanted to see his phone," said Dubill. "He only told me it would be a violation of his property. When he picked up his phone, it was still on video. I told him what I saw and what I believed had happened. I wanted it to not be true. If he would have just showed me his phone, I would have felt much safer."
Dubill threatened to call the police if the male did not hand over his cell phone.
The man then dropped his shopping basket and quickly left the store. Dubill said a woman shopper was able to take pictures of the man's vehicle before he abruptly drove away, according to her post.
After the incident, Dubill posted to Facebook about what happened. Her post currently has over 1,500 likes and more than 6,000 shares.
