She's A Pistol owner talks new details in case

Court documents revealed specific information about the death of Jon Bieker, who was shot and killed when four men allegedly tried to rob his Shawnee store.

Prosecutors go into detail about what happened on Jan. 9, 2015. Documents show one of the defendants, DeAnthony Wiley, entered She’s A Pistol and spoke with Becky Bieker, who was behind the counter. Wiley was wearing a wig. Then, three other men - Londro Patterson, Nicquan Midgyett and Hakeem Malik - entered.

Wiley and Patterson aimed their guns at Becky Bieker, while Midgyett punched her. Becky Bieker’s nose was broken and she was knocked unconscious. Her husband, Jon Bieker, began firing at the men. Three were hurt. Jon Bieker was the only one shot fatally.

"To me it feels like I died that day as well,” Becky Bieker said. "I think they'll understand that we acted in good faith. We were attacked. We were ambushed. And we had to be prepared for that."

Becky Bieker attends every court hearing. Earlier this year, Wiley’s attorney filed a motion claiming he acted out of self-defense.

“Justice will prove that these four were guilty and they did not act in self-defense,” Becky Bieker explained. "The court cases are important to me, but I just won’t let it rule my life."

The four defendants will be back in court on April 29. They all face first-degree murder charges.
