Missouri is about to become a mecca for fast food fans in search of endless fries. In July, a McDonald's in St. Joseph will become "McDonald's of the Future." And bottomless fries are just the beginning.
The 6,500 square-foot restaurant will also provide:
- table-side service
- “innovative” entertainment for children
- digital kiosks that allow customers to customize their burgers and chicken sandwiches
Owners Chris and Karri Habiger told the St. Joseph News-Press "a lot has changed for McDonald’s in the last 40 years in St. Joseph. As customers connect with smart devices and social media, food choices, too, have evolved."
“Today’s customers seek a comfortable and inviting atmosphere,” he said. “So we’re committed to providing a modern look and feel to this restaurant.” -- Chris Habiger in the St. Joseph News-Press
In case you are wondering, the site of the new McDonald's is about an hour's drive from metro Kansas City.
