Galen Rupp has won the U.S. title at 10,000 meters each of the last 8 years, and sandwiched between those titles came an Olympic silver medal in the event.
“I played soccer growing up, you know, the sport that I love,” Rupp said. “They put me out on the wing cause I could run a lot. I just love to run.”
