With Floridians scrambling to prepare for a catastrophic hurricane, one man offered a life-saving gesture to a fellow shopper in need.
According to NBC News, Pam Brekke was shopping at an Orlando-area Lowe's on Thursday, searching for a generator. Brekke said her father is on oxygen, and that she was concerned that Hurricane Irma could knock out power in her home. Without a generator to keep machines going, her father could die.

Initially, it seemed that Lowe's was sold out and Brekke was too late. But as Brekke began to break out in tears, Ramon Santiago came to the rescue.
He offered Brekke his newly-purchased generator. Despite a language barrier, Brekke was able to thank Santiago and the two shared a hug.
"I don't know him at all. He's a stranger. He's an angel from God is what he is," Brekke told WESH-TV.
