Strong winds, hail hit KS & MO on March 6
Strong winds and hail hit parts of Kansas and Missouri on Monday, March 6, 2017. The National Weather Service reported an EF-1 tornado hit Lee's Summit, Missouri, an EF-2 hit Smithville, Missouri, and an EF-3 hit Oak Grove, Missouri. The NWS also reported the damage at Johnson County Executive Airport is consistent with straight-line winds of 80-85 mph.
