Christa Dubill is an Emmy award-winning anchor with a passion for information. She anchors The Now KC at 4 p.m. and 41 Action News at 6 p.m., where she is known for her comfortable and friendly delivery. Even difficult news is somehow a little easier to take if Christa is the one telling you about it.
Christa was born on Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, La., but grew up in Independence, KS. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas.
Christa moved around for the first six years of her career, spending time as a reporter and anchor in Kansas, Iowa and Wisconsin before coming home to Kansas City.
Most of Christa's time outside of work is spent balancing work and home like so many working moms do. She is married with two boys (ages 8 and 4) and has grown accustomed to very little sleep, piles of laundry and meals on-the-go.
Even with such a busy schedule, Christa finds time to be involved with several area non-profits and emcees dozens of events a year.
