What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
That people feel like the person they watch on TV is the REAL me. I take real pride in making sure that's always the case. (I mean, plus a little extra sarcasm sprinkled in in real life.)
What are you most proud of in your own life?
My three handsome sons!
What do you love about living in the KC area?
I grew up in a tiny Texas town, so for me, big cities can be a little intimidating. Kansas City has never fit that description. It feels like a HUGE small town, and I really like that. I felt at home almost immediately here.
What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?
My family and I have spent HOURS at the Kansas City Zoo, and wings from the Peanut are legit the best I've ever had.
Also, I love to play golf (said I loved it, didn't say I was good at it), so I'm always interested in trying new courses across town. Send me your suggestions!
And EVERY pro sporting event I've been to, from Chiefs to Monarchs, has been just awesome.
