If putting together gingerbread houses is one of your favorite holiday activities, get ready for a spooky twist on that seasonal tradition with Halloween cookie kits!
The new Oreo Spooky Graveyard kit comes with everything you need for a frighteningly delicious spooky graveyard, including icing, cookie pieces and candy.
The kits are available at Michaels — but in-store-only, so you may want to check with your local Michaels first to see if they’re in stock before you head over there. Regularly $19.99, they are currently on sale for $11.99.
If you don’t have a Michaels near you or simply want a different kit, Target also has two Halloween cookie kits from their Hyde & EEK! Boutique. Choose from the Hyde Manor or the Spooky Graveyard, both available for $9.99.
Target also has a Halloween Mini House for $2.99 if you need something to help you bring a little Halloween fun to your desk.
Each house comes with everything you need to create a haunted house or graveyard scene, including pre-cut cookie walls, candy and frosting for decorating.
As for Oreo, this is not the first time they’ve had a seasonal decorating kit. Last Halloween, Oreo’s Monster Cookie kit gave you the chance to create little mini-monsters out of Oreo cookies, icing, gummies and candy beads.
The cookie company then stepped it up even more for Christmas, with an Oreo Holiday Cookie House kit, which as you can guess, was basically a gingerbread house (but made out of Oreos, of course!). The brand also released Oreo Easter “egg” cookie kits this Easter.
Of course, if you’re wanting some festive Oreo treats without having to do any work, you can also buy Oreo Halloween popcorn this year. The popcorn is available at Sam’s Club in a 20-ounce bag for $5.98.
And if you’re looking for some other Halloween treats that will be fun to make with little ones, Michaels has tons of ideas for those as well, including Pumpkin & Ghost Brownies, mummy and Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats and Candy Corn Surprise Cupcakes.
You may also want to check out these recipes forM&M’s Explosion Pumpkin cookies or this Candy Corn Surprise Cake if you’d rather have your candy corn in a cake instead of cookies.
Will you be picking up a cookie kit to make this Halloween?
