and last updated

Lipstick Killer, originally from Pittsburgh PA, has been rapping, writing and performing since the age of 12. She comes from a musical family. Growing up, she watched her mother lead praise and worship and the choir. Her brother is Jonny Goood, former bass player for Gaga and now a very successful independent artist. She dropped out of her junior year of college and moved to Atlanta to sign a label deal that fell thru. She continued on in her pursuits, forming two other bands. One under the moniker, Rebella Rising, which gained local success in Kansas City. Her energy is high and she is unpredictable.

Her performance style has been compared to HR from early punk pioneers Bad Brains. Her battle was always wanting the freedom to express herself thru rock and rap, not having to choose one or the other. Her early influences include Biggie, Jayz, Lauryn Hill, Nirvana, Greeday, Linkin Park and Red Hot Chili Peppers to name a few. She joins a handful of other acts naming trapmetal as their genre. Her EP, The Black Dahlia is set for release in 2018 thru her family label, Urban Sixties Records.
