Taco Topia
Friday night, get your taco fix in by going to Taco Topia. It's the biggest Taco Festival in Kansas City, and it's happening at Sporting KC's Budweiser Brewhouse. Kicking off Friday at 5 for VIP guests, this evening of food and music will feature a variety of Mexican eats while vendors battle it out for the title of "Best Taco." There will also be drinks, dancing, a chihuahua beauty pageant and so much more! Get your tickets online and enjoy some tacos Friday night!
The Roasterie's Cookie-Decorating Pop-up
On Saturday head to the Roasterie for a fun Cookie Decorating Pop-up with Beautifully Delicious Bakery! From 10am until 1 you can purchase and decorate sugar cookies with a kit provided by the event organizers. Plus, coffee bean cookies and other treats will be available for everyone to try out and buy. Bring your kids in for some cookie-decorating fun this Saturday starting at 10am.
KC Japanese Film Festival
On Sunday, it's the perfect day for a movie-- or lots of movies if you're a film buff! The 9th Annual Kansas City Japanese Film Festival is happening at Alamo Drafthouse starting at 11am and going well into the evening. Tickets start as low as $5.50 per movie, or you can get a day pass to see all four films! Not only will you be entertained, but you'll also be supporting a great cause: the Taylor Anderson Foundation is a charity that helps schools affected by the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan. Get your tickets online now and enjoy a movie-filled Sunday with family and friends!
