KANSAS CITY, MO — Tomorrow, February 1 kicks off the start to Black History Month. Dr. Carmaletta Williams, Executive Director of The Black Archives of Mid-America has a few great ways to celebrate. She discusses what’s new at The Archives, how they’re partnering with The Missouri Humanities Council, and their Black History Month Luncheon, coming up February 16. You also have the chance to attend a quilt exhibition, “The Lives and Souls of Black Folk” by Dr. Marla A. Jackson, that will be on display during the months of February and March.
