Book highlights women who desegregated schools

Posted

It follows the journey of young women who desegregated America's schools. Author Rachel Devlin uncovered more than a dozen unknown or unexamined school desegregation lawsuits filed by girls and their families in the late 1940s. Their stories are all shared in her book, "A Girl Stands at the Door".
