Schools with Heart: the fight to end bullying

Earlier this fall, The Kansas City Star reported that ‘Missouri ranks third in the nation for having one of the biggest school bullying problems.’ That’s why the Heartland Men’s Chorus, Kansas City’s gay men’s chorus, wanted to develop the “Schools with Heart” program. The program, currently at Lincoln College Prep, shines a light on bullying in schools, not only for LGBTQ+ youth, but for all students. Today we discuss the program with Artistic Director Dustin S. Cates and Lincoln College Prep students Cheryl-Nette Allen and Anthony Moses.
