Before the end of the week, make sure you head to 38 The Spot's Facebook page to enter our latest Freebie Friday giveaway. This week's prize is a set of tickets to Yallapalooza featuring Brett Eldredge and Devon Dawson at Providence Medical Center Amphitheater. We will announce the winner this Friday via Facebook live so make sure you like 38's page and share these local contests with your friends!
Then kick off the weekend with a margarita or two! Friday night, The Pitch presents the fifth annual Margarita Wars in Waldo. Some of KC's best margarita-makers including Chuy's, District Pour House, Drunken Worm, and more will offer attendees tastings of their versions of the classic drink. Start sampling drinks and food at 6:30 pm.
Then on Saturday The Strawberry Swing is in motion! The Swing features handmade goodies from more than 60 KC vendors. Plus, you can also participate in the Sunflower fest, which features an acre of Sunflowers blooming this weekend. The Swing is free to attend, and the Sunflower fest costs 10 dollars, and that includes a complimentary glass of Sunflower Wine. This event is happening both Saturday and Sunday at KC Wine Co in Olathe.

On Sunday, wrap up the weekend with a little taste of India! India Fest celebrates the rich history and culture of the country with traditional dancing, art, food, and a number of vendors. This festical takes place at the Overland Park Convention Center starting at 11 on Sunday and admission is free!
