Drink Recipe: Mint Julep – “Black Beauty”
- 3oz Rose-Infused Bourbon
- 1oz Blackberry Mint Simple Syrup
- 4 Mint Leaves
Garnish: 1 Blackberry, Mint Spring, Powdered Sugar
Pimento Cheese Grits:
Ingredients:
- Cream ¼ qt
- Water ¼ qt
- Milk, whole ¼ qt
- Grated Cheddar 1 cup
- Grits, Coarse 6 oz
- Butter 1 stick
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Paprika 1 tsp
- Pimento, chopped 4 tbsp
Directions:
1. In a large sauce pot, bring the cream, water and milk to a simmer
2. Slowly whisk in the grits
3. Simmer until the grits are tender, then add the remaining ingredients
4. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary
