KANSAS CITY, MO — The SevenDays organization has the mission to engage all people to discover commonalities and to overcome evil with acts of kindness. One way they’re doing that, is through a songwriting competition for young adults. Executive Director Jill Andersen and Media & Community Relations Director Ruth Baum Bigus discuss the upcoming Faith, Love & Song competition. The contest is for songwriters ages 14-21 and asks for songs composed with lyrics inspiring and uplifting others to be accepting of others. The deadline for song submissions is February 8, 2019, with the winning songwriters performing at the SevenDays event held April 9-15, 2019.
