A twist on peach cobbler from Chef Jasper

August is National Peach Month, and we are celebrating with a twist on peach cobbler thanks to Chef Jasper Mirabile from Jasper's Restaurant.

Jasper Mirabile’s Kurlbaum Tomato-Peach Cobbler
Serves 6

9x13 pan 

INGREDIENTS
3 lbs peaches 
3 lbs tomatoes 
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 
3 cups Bisquick
3 cups milk 
1 cup sugar 
 
METHOD
Mix peaches and tomatoes with sugar and cinnamon. 

In a mixing bowl, mix Bisquick with sugar and milk. 

Grease pan and add peaches and tomato mixture. Pour on batter. Dust with sugar.  

Bake at 350 degrees for around 30 minutes or until lightly brown. 

Serve with gelato.
